Husband is home and it's either not a moment too soon or way too soon. This morning his diabetic hospital breakfast consisted of corn flakes, a blueberry muffin, apple juice and a banana. Holy cow! On the other hand, he doesn't feel well and I want to scream "I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!" because he seemed to feel not so bad in the hospital. If he feels this bad tomorrow I am calling the doctor and not waiting for him t have his scheduled appointment on Thursday. Also, I am a little afraid of the husband's frightful looking infected feet. I don't want me or the kids to catch what he has. Seriously. It's nasty.
Evan's not at all beloved science teacher made him take a test early when she heard he was missing the last day of school before the break. She gave it back to him, seemingly disappointed that he managed to pull an A-. She even went as far as asking him how he managed to do so well. He shrugged and said nothing instead of telling her that a -11 on a test is really a B+. She credited him for a 91. He guesses she ended up teaching science because math was not her strong suit.
While I was on the phone with the realtor I saw a fat little mouse make a dash across my kitchen floor. I can not even begin to tell you how difficult it was to carry on with the conversation like I hadn't seen it. Pretty sure I turned purple with the strain. I don't want the realtor to feel like she has to disclose anything! I ran over to the hardware store and took care of the situation. I'm a murderer.
Speaking of the realtor, she texted me today and asked if she could bring a client over in an hour. I did not say "Are you f##king shitting me?" because I let people walk all over me, instead I say "Well, I was running home to pick up something for the husband (who was still hospitalized at the point) I'll make the beds, but the rest of the house isn't perfect." Except it was pretty close to still being immaculate. I hate hate hate this.
I need to find a place in new town so I can refocus my home owning anxieties. Cross your fingers for the next house hunting outing.
Am SOOOOO crossing for you! Sheesh, once again, hang in there, Click!
