Josh has gone trick or treating with Matt for the last few Halloweens. This year Matt said he was going with some friends, and I was kind of devastated for Josh. So I told Josh I'd go with him and I'd dress up if he wanted me to. Josh picked out a lovely low cut greek goddess dress for me, so that we would make a suitable pair, since he has a Hercules costume. I said "Awesome" on the outside and HOLY COW on the inside. In the end, it turned out that Matt's friend had to bring her 7 her old cousin with them trick or treating, so Matt did a 360 and tried to bring Josh too, and Josh was all at once conflicted and then depressed because being on a milk free diet he wouldn't be able to eat chocolate anyway, so he asked if he could just hand out candy at our door (which all of my kids LOVE to do) instead of trick or treating. I put on my goddess costume anyway, because dammit, I stood in line for 30 minutes to get this costume, and then I momentarily grew a pair of balls and haggled for a discount with the store manager when the only greek goddess costume in my size came in a bag that either looked it was mauled by tigers or dragged behind a moving car (depending on how pissy I was being with which store employee). I look pretty awesome, even if I do say so myself, and I've also spent the last 3 hours trying to persuade my oversized breasts back into the greek goddess costume. Without a doubt Evan's 7 friends totally noticed when they were slamming down some pizza before pillaging the neighborhood. It's only 7:30 and all I want to do is put on my jammies. But I think I might have to jump into the car and run to the store for more candy. It's been a record breaking night.
What, and no photo of the Greek goddess?!
From the background it looks like Halloween is big in the Click household. Stunning! And I'm really proud of Josh for altering plans and still having fun in spite of dietary restrictions. He must have a great example living with him.

The house is great, but where is the pic of you as a Greek Goddess? I want to see it....
The kids look wonderful, too. Kudoos to Josh for not going with Matt after being rejected once. That will teach both of them lessons. Saying no is hard, hearing it is harder, then adapting to changing circumstances and not accepting the "pity" invitation...that's character.

Okay, I have to agree with the others - I see no greek goddess pic. What's up with that Click?? :-)
