Whoops, I missed the boat and forgot to sign up for Steve's
For some reason (like maybe I am flaky....) I thought the day to sign up was the 26th. The day to sign up? 23rd. Naturally.
But here I am guys! Late as usual. Did I mention that Josh was late for the second day of school? I told Josh we shouldn't set an unreasonable precedent for the rest of year. We must be true to ourselves! You know, before kids, I was 10 minutes early to everything. Really, I was!
I need to make 3 Hot 100 goals for myself to strive towards.
1. Moderate carb consumption. This includes fruits and especially grains. By moderate I mean 2-3 fruits and 2 servings max of grains. A serving? 1/2 cup of rice similar amount of potato. What am I not going to do? Eat a cup or more of rice off my own plate and then shovel leftover rice in my mouth as I clean up or scrape the kid's plate.
2. Exercise 5-6 days a week. Three days of resistance training and 3 days of High Intensity Interval Training on either the stair mill, running, or my most favorite funnest exercise, the expresso bike. Obviously some days I will combine.
3. Commence total house clean out with one hour a day of de-cluttering, sorting, tossing, etc.... If I am going to flee stepford for the new town next summer I have to get this house ready for sale and that means all the mess that I've hidden upstairs, in the garage, in the basement and in the kid's playroom has to go. This will likely be my hardest goal to accomplish.
So, how did I do today?
1. Carb control: Pretty good for me! No sugar, three fruits and three servings of carb. This day was a two month record low in the carb department.
2. Exercise: 25 minutes on the stair mill doing speed intervals. I forgot how much I adore the stair mill too.
3. Clean up: Uh, yeah, about cleaning, I better log out now and get to it!
I'm glad you made it in by the deadline Click! Great goals, btw!

Your doing it. Well house keeping will come along as it goes. It's not easy, especially with a family. Keep up the great work. I'll check in on you again soon.
Take care and God Bless!!

Good luck for your goals, Click! I am SO glad you're on the bandwagon, too - I met you through last year's Hot 100 Challenge, and I consider you a friend, and a photography and gym role model.
I'm so IN on the organization goal - in fact, I'm gonna chase you on this one, girl! (Since my workout goal is so paltry compared to yours, haha, I just have to focus on the other one, right?)
Let's ROCK!

Good luck!

Good for you, you beat the sign-up deadline by 5 days. I'm decluttering too, but I have to limit it to 15 minute sessions or the crying kicks in. LOL!
Good luck for the rest of the 100 days. Great goals,
Hugs,
Mary
