I found out that the new next door neighbor's husband is (not the wrinkly older dude) her age and that the dude I saw and assumed to be the very young wife's older and on his second marriage sugar daddy husband actually was one of the grandparents. It's good to have neighbors that are nosier than you are to set you straight. Also, it's nice when the nosier neighbors are also bold as hell neighbors who interrogate landscapers, so a girl can find out that the two ridiculously young across the street new neighbors are spending 6 figures on landscaping the hell out there little section of stepford right into their own personal shangri la. The nosier and bolder neighbor suspects (as in SPECULATION) that there is family money involved due to the youngness of these new deep pocketed neighbors. Also, the new england license plate, somehow signaled family money to the nosier bolder neighbor. I think they won the lottery. I want to win the lottery too.
2 minutes into Stand Up to Cancer the other day I already had a crying headache. I turned it off. I didn't think there was any need to make myself sick. I know more than I'd like to know about cancer.
Then yesterday was 9/11. I couldn't watch network TV all day. I just can't go there again. If I watch other people's pain I'll end up beyond down.
Today I sat in the non stop rain for an hour and a half watching Evan's team play their first real football game. Evan didn't get to play. The coach already told us that the kids who played last year were going to see the most field time. If Evan doesn't get to play at all this is going to be a very long season. I toyed with the idea of letting the coach know I could photograph the team. I don't really want to be responsible for shooting everyone, I really only want to get my own kid. Now I don't think I'll say anything for a couple of weeks and see how that pans out. No Evan, no me. I just don't feel all that charitable.
Tomorrow I am going primal. I am doing a month with no grains and no crap at all. I have a goal for this winter, and that goal is to get down into one-derland.
Too funny about the neighbors!
BTW, I love the goal!

I don't feel being a joiner this month, but (obviously) your link inspired my goal.
