Dad has been working with federal authorities on the Madoff case lately. He has been interviewing people who lost their money.
One lady, who knows dad and that he was widowed last June, sobs to dad towards the end of the interview and cries out "You don't know what I have been through, I've lost everything!" And dad leaned forward and told the lady "You lost money, I have lost everything."
Dad found is everything tonight, and not a moment too soon. Tomorrow is their 37th anniversary and now they can celebrate together.

Go almighty, I can't believe it and I am so so sorry. I really thought maybe something would improve and this would all be soon behind you. I hope he did not suffer, and I pray for peace for your family.

I'm so sorry for your loss. You have had such a crappy year. But both of your parents are in Heaven throwing one hell of a party at their reunion. I'll be keeping your family in my prayers tonight.
