You know you wanted to see more of Mom's stuff didn't you? You know you did! You read that other post and you thought to yourself, that stuff around her neck isn't so big, is clickmom crazy or just jewelry impaired? (both actually)
Well, sit back and enjoy, (please excuse the por photo quality going here, I am lazy and using photobooth on my mac) because this is installment #2 of
Clickmom tries to wear her dead mom's stuff!!
Okay now, first you should know that mom always had a thing for all decorations that are asian. Even creepy necklaces with big faux ivory (I hope it's faux!) asian woman head and 4 brown beads with a tortured man face on them. There is nothing more I can possibly say about this one. See?
Oh yeah! Top that necklace? Well, in the big category, I can top it (several times) but I can top it with this multi stranded at the bottom next number (I wore it to that wake) that has one big thing going against it, it is BIG.
Mom had some definite themes going on with her jewelry and one theme was THE DANGLER. Here is a petite dangler, that is not neck breaking big, but it is way bigger than anything I would ever wear during the day with a target t-shirt, but hey, the shirt was black and somehow so is the majority of Mom's plastique jewelry (except for the ones that are white and clear plastic) So, presenting, one of The Danglers!
And last but not least is one of the rare not black/white/clear plastic pieces in mom's collection. This piece is a three tiered green and brown hued glass and shell bead number which is curiously (and sloppily) strung on a metal wire which managed to poke, scratch and jab my neck in 3 different spots for three straight hours during services yesterday. But, man, I looked so good that when I walked into synagogue one of the synagogue yentas said "Click, you look good!?" with such shock I could only turn away and snicker silently to myself.
The third one is probably the only one I'd actually wear. I'm more into simplicity. In fact, the only jewelry I usually ever wear is my engagement ring and my promise ring. And sometimes Tinkerbell earrings.

Still love that haircut and I like the last necklace best.
