Evan: I hit this ball all the way from one side of the yard over the fence on the other side.

me: Hey! That sounds like a good hit! Wait, which fence?

Evan: That one...

me: The fence where the new neighbors are? What happened?

Evan: Well, I heard someone yell and then they threw the ball back.

me: Did you hit one of boys?

Evan: No! It sounded like the mom..

me: YOU HIT THE MOM!
