I have a 57 year old step sister. She is a nice jewish girl. She was married once, for about a year, when she was in her 20's. She has been single for a long time. She recently got engaged to an Irish catholic guy. He is 60. He's never been married before. She thought about having a traditional wedding, but eventually decided (perhaps enough people laughed at her?) that she wanted something "different."
Now I can think of lots of ways to do different: tropical islands, deep sea diving, high on a mountain top at sunset, Las Vegas (baby!). Apparantly, my different is not different enough. My step sister, the nice jewish girl and her fiance the Irish catholic guy are going to be married by the Dali Lama. Too different.
